INGREDIENTS
10pcs HARVEST GOURMET® Schnitzel
1lt Corn oil
2tbsp Cornstarch
4tbsp Water, for cornstarch slurry
200g Frozen mixed vegetables, defrosted
2 x Tomatoes, quartered
Sweet and Sour Sauce:
8tbsp MAGGI Tomato Sauce
2tbsp Worcestershire sauce
4tbsp Brown sugar
400ml Water
1tbsp MAGGI Concentrated Vegetarian Stock
- For Hainanese Schnitzel, add corn oil to a frying pan and deep-fry HARVEST GOURMET® Schnitzel till golden brown. Set aside.
- Prepare the Sweet and Sour Sauce by combining ingredients together in a pot. Bring to a boil.
- Combine cornstarch and water to make slurry, pour into the pot to thicken the sauce.
- Add mixed vegetables and tomatoes into the thickened sauce, simmer for 3-5mins. Pour over HARVEST GOURMET® Schnitzel and serve.
