HAINANESE SCHNITZEL WITH SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE

  • 10 pieces HARVEST GOURMET® Schnitzel
  • 1000 milliliters Corn oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 4 tablespoons Water, for cornstarch slurry
  • 200 grams Frozen mixed vegetables, defrosted
  • 2 pieces Tomatoes, quartered
  • 8 tablespoons MAGGI Tomato Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 0.4 liter Water
  • 1 tablespoon MAGGI Concentrated Vegetarian Stock
Preparation

For Hainanese Schnitzel, add corn oil to a frying pan and deep-fry HARVEST GOURMET® Schnitzel till golden brown. Set aside.

Prepare the Sweet and Sour Sauce by combining ingredients together in a pot. Bring to a boil.

Combine cornstarch and water to make slurry, pour into the pot to thicken the sauce.

Add mixed vegetables and tomatoes into the thickened sauce, simmer for 3-5mins. Pour over HARVEST GOURMET® Schnitzel and serve.
