WOK-FRIED SENSATIONAL CUBES WITH BLACK PEPPER SAUCE

  • 10 pieces HARVEST GOURMET® Sensational™ Burger
  • 1000 milliliters Corn oil, for frying
  • 3 tablespoons Shaoxing wine
  • 3 tablespoons Sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper, crushed
  • 3 tablespoons Vegetarian oyster sauce
  • 6 tablespoons Margarine
  • 3 teaspoons Black pepper, crushed
  • 3 tablespoons Dark soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Light soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Vegetarian oyster sauce
  • 30 milliliters MAGGI Concentrated Vegetarian Stock
  • 30 grams White sugar
  • 60 grams Cornstarch
  • 60 milliliters Water, for cornstarch slurry
  • 100 grams Green bell peppers, oblique
  • 100 grams Green bell peppers, oblique
  • 100 grams Yellow bell peppers, oblique

Lightly marinate the HARVEST GOURMET® Sensational Burger patties in a mixture of Shaoxing wine, sesame oil, vegetarian oyster sauce and black pepper for 15 minutes.

Cut each HARVEST GOURMET® Sensational Burger patty into 6 piece. In a pot, lightly fry the patty pieces to golden brown, set aside.

For Black Pepper Sauce, melt margarine in a wok over medium low heat, add in black pepper, all of the bell peppers, lightly stir-fry. Add in both soy sauces, oyster sauce, MAGGI Concentrated Vegetarian Stock and sugar, bring to a boil.

Combine cornstarch and water. Add slurry to the black pepper sauce to thicken it. Add in HARVEST GOURMET® Sensational Burger patties. Mix well to evenly coat sauce. Remove from heat and serve.
