These Chargrilled Pieces Satay Noodles are easy to prepare and make an extremely satisfying dish even meat-lovers will enjoy. Try our Chargrilled Pieces fried until crisp and topped on this crunchy peanut noodle salad. These HARVEST GOURMET® Chargrilled Pieces will add a lovely texture to this meat-free satay recipe. You won’t believe they are actually meat-free!

Ingredients
  • 750 grams HARVEST GOURMET® Chargrilled Pieces
  • 650 grams fine egg noodles
  • 250 grams red cabbage
  • 15 ounces radishes
  • 10 ounces Spring onions
  • 5 ounces carrots
  • 2.5 ounces cucumbers
  • 2 ounces handfuls coriander leaves
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 200 milligrams Water
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons Sesame oil
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons reduced salt soy sauce
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons chilli sauce
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons chilli flakes
  • 1 ounce Juice of one lime
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons Black sesame seeds
Preparation

    Cook the egg noodles according to the pack instructions, rinse in cold water then set aside.

    For the dressing, mix together the peanut butter, sesame oil, soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce and chilli flakes with 200ml water - it should be pourable so add a little more water if you need to.

    Fry the HARVEST GOURMET Chargrilled Pieces in the olive oil over a moderate heat for 3-4 minutes on each side till crisp and piping hot throughout.

    Finely slice the spring onions, red cabbage and radishes and place in a bowl. Make ribbons of carrot and cucumber using a peeler and add to the bowl, along with the coriander leaves. Top with the satay dressing and finally add the noodles and mix until coated.

    Serve the noodle salad with the heated fillet pieces on top. Top with sesame seeds and a squeeze of lime juice
