Italian Meat Ball
Ingredients

500 grams of Minced Beef

50 grams of Bread Crumbs

1 Egg (Beaten)

60 grams of Grated Parmesan

1 tablespoon of MAGGI Concentrated Chicken Stock

Salt

Black Pepper

Olive Oil

Flour

200 grams of MAGGI Tomato Paste

1 Onion (Diced)

2 pieces of Garlic (Chopped)

2-3 pieces of Fresh Tomatoes (Chopped)

7-8 Fresh Basil Leaves
-
Olive oil
-
Salt
-
Black Pepper

Shredded Mozzarella
-
Shredded Parmesan
Preparation

1Mix all the meatball ingredients well, season with salt and black pepper to taste. Portion into 9-10 meatballs and dust with flour.

2Heat the olive oil in a medium sized pan, set over medium heat. Add the meatballs to the pan in one layer and place in the oven. Bake the meatballs for 10minutes or until brown.

3Remove the meatballs from the pan and use the remaining oil to sauté the garlic, onion, tomatoes and MAGGI Tomato Paste. Season well and add some stock and simmer until the consistency is good.

4To finish, place the meatballs in the sauce, stir well and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and parmesan over. Place the pan back into the oven and continue to cook for 10 more minutes, or till the sauce bubbles and the cheese melts.

5Garnish with some torn basil leaves and serve.
