Chocolate Mousse Cake

Ingredients
  • 60g Dark Chocolate
  • 50g KITKAT® Bites Mix-In
  • 150g KITKAT® Spread
  • 150g Milk
  • 30g Egg yolk
  • 2 Sheets of Gelatin
  • 150g Dark Chocolate
  • 375g Cream, Whipped

    Melt the dark chocolate then stir into the KITKAT® Spread.

    Add in the KITKAT® Bites Mix-In.

    Once well mixed, spread evenly in a circle of 20cm in diameter
  • 4
    Soak the gelatin in cold water, as per pack instructions, and set aside.

    Boil the milk.
  • 6
    Mix the egg yolks and sugar together
  • 7
    Once well mixed, add the milk and cook for 2 minutes to make the custard
  • 8
    Incorporate the gelatin, and pour everything over the dark chocolate.

    Once lukewarm, gently mix in the whipped cream.

    Pour the mousse over the croustillant

    Set aside in fridge.
